Description

This activity has been approved for 18 Continuing Education Credits with the Alberta College of Paramedics.

Wellness Works Canada is hosting free, Alberta-exclusive virtual training events coming up this summer that have been specifically designed for first responders. Made possible by the Government of Alberta, the workshop aims to create greater awareness around the cumulative impact of critical incident stress, provide resources to those who may be struggling with work-related stress/PTSD, and will allow attendees an opportunity to network with their peers from across Alberta while simultaneously gaining a wider support system.

The workshops will be hosted by Jeffrey Cartwright, CTR, CTW, who has 30+ years of experience working as a paramedic, firefighter, trauma clinician, mental health supporter/educator and board member of ATTS. Jeff is a recognized Ted Talk speaker who passionately advocates for Mental Health, Strong Leadership and ensuring Psychological Safe Workplaces.
